RAM, whether you bat for the red team or the blue team, you need it. But there are so many options, from 2133 to 4266 Megahertz.
But could it possibly be worth emptying your wallet for the fastest memory on the market http://therallyshow.org/rage-quit-simulator-getting-over-it-react-gaming/? Let's find out! We're opening up a new merch store. You can check out some of our new gear today at the link in the video description first, a primer on RAM DDR4 is the latest version of the form of DRAM that our computers almost universally use programs get loaded into it from our SSDS and Hard Drives because it's Blazing fast performance is needed to feed our CPUs data to munch on [and] turn in those ones and zeros in two games Boring Powerpoint presentations, or this video that you're watching right now Cool, so the faster the RAM, the better the performance, right? Not quite there comes a point where even if you could Force-feed your CPU more data. It couldn't possibly chew through it fast enough to make a difference so the sweet spot as always probably lies somewhere in the middle. We just need to find it Let's Establish a baseline here the Joint Electron Device Engineering Council or JEDEC for short specifies 2133 Megahertz for DDR4, while on both Intel's Z270 and x99 platforms, running anything over DDR4 24 Hundred Megahertz, is outside the official spec. AMD for their part has specified a range of speeds with the most frequently used configuration also sitting at. 2,400 Megahertz. But wait a minute, what? Well, why the heck are companies like G.SKILL? Advertising speeds that are up to almost double that Well the answer is sanctioned overclocking. Intel's extreme memory profile or XMP for short has become something of an industry standard for running high-end memory to its rated spec on supported motherboards Every RAM module, even the highest end XMP ones, then have the JEDEC standard speeds baked in then along with that a Faster XMP profile that stored on a chip that identifies each Individual module in a standard that's called serial presence detect or SPD. For compatibility reasons JEDEC comes first and it's only when you specifically enable XMP in your computer's BIOS that it will run at those speeds. Or at least in theory it will We've had tons of issues over the years, most recently during the Ryzen 7 launch where we couldn't get past 2666 Megahertz no matter what ASUS, AMD or G.SKILL said. Our board with our memory has since been fixed which is great. With a firmware update. But, sanctioned overclocking is still overclocking and it can cause these kinds of issues from chip to chip or board to board or RAM stick to RAM stick depending on your luck. It can also cause less severe, but equally annoying issues to crop up at random at some point in the future But whatever Linus, enough of this warning label crap. I'm prepared to spend a weekend bashing my head against the wall troubleshooting my new gaming rig! So tell me what do I stand to gain— for my pain? Great question, we tested a variety of configurations. On AMD, the maximum we could achieve was DDR4 3,200, and on Intel, we hit 3600 hundred Megahertz before we just stopped turning the dial, because spoiler alert— Well, no, wait actually, well no you'll see. Using 2133 Megahertz as a Baseline, we ran Deus Ex Mankind Divided and Rise of the Tomb Raider in both DirectX 11, and DirectX 12 modes. Some games, clearly won't care much about RAM speeds. But others, can end up being more memory sensitive than we'd initially expected. In For Honor, average frame rates looked to be within margin of error regardless of RAM speed, but looking closely-er, the 97th percentile minimum frame rate Does seem to have been affected.

In 2008, The Love Guru hit theaters, and it was a huge misstep. With terrible reviews and abysmal box office receipts, it was the first sign that Myers was no longer a sure-fire hitmaker. Outside of a brief cameo in Inglourious Basterds and 2010's Shrek Forever After, Myers has seemingly vanished from Hollywood. Was it all because of that one terrible movie?
In a 2014 interview with GQ Magazine, Myers talked about his escape to New York, noting that his absence had nothing do with The Love Guru, which he's actually proud of. Instead what happened was he remarried and welcomed two children with his second wife and began working on small passion projects that he was in no rush to complete. However, after reprising his career-making character on SNL, things seem to be heating back up. He appeared as Tommy Maitland, host of The Gong Show in 2017, and he's even expressed an interest in appearing in Austin Powers 4 zimpler Ireland. "Yeah baby!" Before that, though, he'll be returning to the big screen to star in the upcoming noir thriller Terminal. Gene Hackman Thanks to a career stretching all the way back to the '60s, Gene Hackman has starred in at least 79 movies, including Bonnie and Clyde, The French Connection, Hoosiers, Unforgiven, Crimson Tide, and a slew of others that have stood the test of time. Plus, who can forget Hackman's iconic role as Lex Luthor matching wits with Christopher Reeve's Superman. In 2001, Hackman gave one of his most beloved performances of all time in The Royal Tenenbaums, so it came as a complete surprise when Hackman starred in the 2004 lackluster comedy Welcome to Mooseport and chose that to be his final film. While Hackman never officially announced his retirement, he confirmed he was done with acting in a 2008 interview with Reuters. However, this fan favorite is not finished with the creative world yet, as the former actor is doing a formidable job trying to "hack" it as a writer -- no pun intended. Rick Moranis After making a name for himself on SCTV, Canada's answer to Saturday Night Live, Rick Moranis became a staple of '80s comedy classics, starting with a small little movie called Ghostbusters. After that, Moranis had starring roles in Little Shop of Horrors, Spaceballs!, and the Disney franchise Honey, I Shrunk The Kids. Moranis also continued to steadily work in the '90s, which included landing the plum role of Barney Rubble in the 1994 live-action remake of The Flintstones. And it seemed like this guy was going to be a Hollywood mainstay for years to come … until he was gone. By 2015, Moranis had virtually vanished from Hollywood for nearly 18 years, but when word got out that he wouldn't reprise his role as Lewis Tully in the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot, he granted a rare interview to The Hollywood Reporter to explain where he'd been. As it turns out, in 1997, Moranis' wife, Anne, died of breast cancer. While he originally planned to take a small break, Moranis ultimately devoted himself to raising his two young children, and the actor couldn't be happier be with the decision. He explained: "I was working with really interesting people, wonderful people. I went from that to being at home with a couple of little kids, which is a very different lifestyle. But it was important to me. I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever. My life is wonderful." Apart from a couple of voice-over roles in kids movies along the way, Moranis' hiatus appears to be permanent. Bridget Fonda Thanks to her famous dad, Bridget Fonda made her first acting appearance at age 5 in the 1969 classic Easy Rider, but it would be a few decades until the actress became a Hollywood fixture. In the early '90s, she made a big splash in Single White Female, but despite working steadily in notable '90s flicks such as Point of No Return, Singles, and Jackie Brown, Fonda's career didn't fare so well in the 2000s. For starters, Fonda had made a name for herself as a film actress, so when the lead role for a television series came her way, she turned it down. That show ended up being the smash hit Ally McBeal, which rocketed Calista Flockhart to fame. Fonda starred in the 2001 box-office bomb Monkeybone, and a year later, she quit acting altogether after starring in the forgettable Hallmark channel movie Snow Queen. But Fonda had a good reason to walk away from Hollywood after a solid body of work. She started a family with husband and famous film composer Danny Elfman, and she hasn't looked back. Sean Connery While Sean Connery rose to fame during the '60s as the first James Bond, the prolific Scottish actor continued to be a formidable box office presence through much of the '80s and '90s thanks to roles in Highlander, The Untouchables, The Hunt for Red October, and The Rock. Being Indiana Jones' dad probably didn't hurt his continued fame, either. By the early 2000s, Connery was still white-hot after the success of Entrapment, but behind-the-scenes, a series of mistakes would lead him to walk away from Hollywood. While it's known that Connery retired after filming the disastrous The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, it wasn't revealed until years later why he starred in a movie he hated so much that he literally got into a fist-fight with the director. According to Entertainment Weekly, Connery had turned down roles in both Lord of the Rings and The Matrix – both of which came with sweet back-end deals that would have made him a fortune. When League came around, Connery thought he had this one figured out, saying: "I got offered The Lord of the Rings, and I turned it down because I didn't understand it. I was offered The Matrix — twice — and I turned it down because I didn't understand it. I don't understand this movie, but I'll be damned if I'm going to turn it down." Obviously, that didn't go as planned, but hey, at least Connery doesn't have to make these kinds of decisions in retirement. Thanks for watching! There's fame, fortune, and all the perks of being a somebody around town. But being a successful Hollywood actor is still a job that requires putting in a lot of time and energy, and the business can be unforgiving.
One wrong move and your career could be toast. For these actors, even the glamour and glitz of Tinseltown just wasn't enough to justify sticking around for the long haul, so they quit while they were ahead. Here are some stars who have basically disappeared. Joe Pesci If you grew up in the '90s, then there's a pretty good chance that you know Joe Pesci from his role as one of the main villains in the holiday classic Home Alone. But if you're also a fan of great cinema, then you'll also know that Pesci was a scene stealer who collaborated with legendary director Martin Scorsese on such classic films as Raging Bull, Goodfellas, and Casino. "I see you, you muddaf-----." Pesci also proved himself as a strong leading man with his command performance in My Cousin Vinny. His career was the kind most actors only get to dream about, but Pesci couldn't have cared less about the trappings of fame, and in 1999, he walked away. The reasons for Pesci's early retirement are murky. While it initially seemed like he decided to pursue a career in music, a look back at Pesci's interviews over the years show a man who wasn't entirely feeling Hollywood and seemed apathetic about his successful film career. Pesci has popped up in a small handful of films over the past 20 years (and he made an odd appearance in a Snickers commercial), but the actor seems reluctant to relive his glory days. In fact, he's probably the only person alive who has no problem telling off Martin Scorsese. "So far all he keeps saying is 'go f--- yourself'' However, he and frequent co-star Robert DeNiro will be re-teaming with Scorsese for another round of nefarious fun in The Irishman, so perhaps that will mark a new era in his career. Meg Ryan She became America's sweetheart and the "queen of romantic comedies" with such hits such as When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, and You've Got Mail. She also proved her dramatic mettle in films like Courage Under Fire and the smoldering hit City of Angels. But at the turn of the millennium, Ryan became the focus of intense tabloid scrutiny when reports began surfacing that she was having an affair with her Proof of Life co-star Russell Crowe. While Ryan continued to work sporadically in Hollywood, her roles were never the same after the gossip, and even so, she waited eight years to address the scandal in a 2008 interview with InStyle. According to Ryan, the affair definitely happened, and even though it affected her public image, she described it as liberating after years of allegedly being cheated on by her husband at the time, Dennis Quaid. With her side of the story finally out there, Ryan attempted to bounce back with The Women, a film about a cheated-on spouse, but audiences and critics were lukewarm on the project. Since then, Ryan has mostly ditched Hollywood for New York, where she's focused on her children and navigating the pitfalls of love with rocker John Mellencamp. However, she has appeared in a few scattered small screen features since then, and she may be staging a comeback soon with a new comedy series on the rise, so stay tuned. Mike Myers For a while, it seemed like former Saturday Night Live alum Mike Myers was the king of the comedy world. After the blockbuster success of the Wayne's World movies and the Austin Powers franchise, there was no way Myers' Hollywood star could shine any brighter. But then he became Shrek on top of everything else. Myers was unstoppable … until he wasn't. They were all dead. The final gunshot was an exclamation mark everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger and then it was over to make sense of it. I need to go back three years back to the late to paint started. Welcome back to Jersey Matters, Dawn Stensland-Mendte. Spring of 2018 is a season of great anticipation here in Atlantic City and across the entire state of New Jersey. Why? Because of a looming United States Supreme Court ruling. New Jersey may hit the jackpot with an upcoming US Supreme Court ruling in one of the most important sports betting cases in American history.
- It's certainly not constitutional only to allow a few states to have sports betting while the rest of the country isn't allowed. And there are billions of dollars that leave the country every year that we are unable to stop or collect. So, it only makes sense that the Supreme Court does the right thing and approves gaming throughout the country. - Experts say the odds are in New Jersey's favor after a five-year battle challenging the constitutionality of a federal law that made gambling on pro and collegiate athletics illegal, except for Nevada, Delaware, Montana, and Oregon. - We are very hopeful that the Supreme Court will rule in our favor and kinda allow for sports betting like it is all over the world. We think it's gonna be terrific for Atlantic City. We think it's gonna be great for the state and really gonna be great for Resorts. We're gonna be prepared to launch day one skrill casinos Canada. - Another launch 40 years ago this Memorial Day, Resorts Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City celebrated its grand opening as the first casino to open in the nation outside Nevada. Business and community leaders are hopeful for a renaissance of America's playground. Construction continues at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, with a half-billion-dollar renovation of the former Taj Mahal. - We're attached to Hard Rock. When the former Taj Mahal was built, the Resorts built that property. So, it was built to really be kinda like a one-property concept. So, we think Hard Rock and Resorts will coexist quite well. Ocean Casino Resorts is expected to open; they're hiring and planning on opening. And we think it will allow for dynamic new offerings. It'll insist that we all get better, 'cause we all have to grow together. - Monmouth Park Racetrack is ready for action after investing $1 million in its state-of-the-art facility. - And you're ready to go immediately? - We're ready to go probably two weeks after the court decides the case. There'll be some logistics that we need to deal with. We're not sitting around waiting. We feel confident that we will prevail. - But South Jersey lawmakers told me they oppose so-called racinos outside Atlantic City. - And I know it's a dichotomy that we support one but not the other. The sports betting industry, it could be a huge boost to South Jersey and our casinos here. I think it's a good thing. - For now, North and South Jersey are united in their hopes for a victory with the high court's ruling, expected at the earliest, April 30th, and at the latest, mid-June. Analysts predict legal sports betting could yield $10 billion a year for New Jersey. Of course, the big question is when will this ruling come? Some say weeks, some say months. But for casinos like Resorts, they say they are ready to go once the ruling is in, hoping it goes their way. Reporting from Atlantic City for Jersey Matters, Dawn Stensland-Mendte. Up next, Larry's commentary. There is a reason why students are sometimes referred to as the “poor student.” Those who take on a full time course load have no time to earn extra money by securing a part time job. For those who have to move away from their hometown for College, it can be a struggle making their minimal student loan dollars stretch. Have no fear, there are ways to get by and ease the burden!
Here are some simple and easy ways to help make your student dollars stretch: Eating Healthy Meals Just because you have a tight budget, does not mean you have no choice but to sacrifice your healthy eating habits. In fact, it is a huge misconception that eating healthy is expensive. Did you know that boxed, processed and convenient food items are more expensive than traditional essential staples? Buy in bulk Focus on your basic staples to put together healthy meals. The basics are rice, potatoes, grains & whole wheat pastas. Remember just because an item is on sale, does not mean you have to buy it! Try and do one big shop at Costco once a month. This will keep you from spending more money in multiple shops. Utility Bills If you do not find that you are using many of the functions your cell phone plan is providing, try saving money significantly by cutting down your data plan, text message services or any other add-on you do not find to be using much of. Instead of buying new, expensive cell phones, look for deals on free cell phones with cheaper plans. Do you find yourself spending more time on the computer than watching television? More and more people are cutting their cable bill and only paying for their essential internet services. Most shows today are streaming online, so really you aren’t missing out. Just on saving money! Split Living Costs If you are living off campus, there is no way you can live comfortably and stress-free without finding a responsible room-mate to split the living costs with. This will make life a lot easier for you as long as you find a responsible & tidy roommate. Try spreading the word through friends and family first then post ads on your College website, there are always students looking for roommates. Being Creative in the Kitchen Do you remember those home cooked meals mom used to make, that tasted so good? Well chances are she slaved over the stove using fresh ingredients. If you want to save money, you should do the same. Kraft Dinner and Beefaroni are unhealthy, tasteless and overpriced. Consider asking your mom or family member for home cooked recipes. If you are looking to save time in the kitchen to spend it on studying, invest in a Slow Cooker! This magical invention allows you to throw in any inexpensive cut of meat you like, with vegetables, stock and spices and then flip the switch to low. Head to school and by the time you arrive home 8 hours later you will smell the incredible aroma of a home cooked meal. (And lots of leftovers!) Save Money on Décor & Furniture Items If you have just moved into your new space and looking to decorate it, stick to the basics. A bed, one dresser, a coffee table, one bookshelf and a futon that turns into a bed is all you really need furniture wise. You can find great deals on nice second hand furniture at Salvation Army or any other thrift store. Remember these simple tips for students as you prepare for College life. You will find yourself less stressed and have the ability to save more money in the long run. “The chief difficulty Alice found at first was in managing her flamingo: she succeeded in getting its body tucked away, comfortably enough, under her arm, with its legs hanging down, but generally, just as she had got its neck nicely straightened out, and was going to give the hedgehog a blow with its head, it WOULD twist itself round and look up in her face, with such a puzzled expression that she could not help bursting out laughing”. Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
There is always at least one flamingo in every career woman’s life even if you do not realize it. Usually it is the person that frustrates you the most, the person that makes it difficult to get your job done and be able to continue down the path to success. This is the person who makes it hard to win because of how they play the game; this is the person who behaves very similar to Alice’s flamingo. Your flamingo may be your boss, it may be your colleague (the one in the old boys club that keeps steeling your ideas and presenting them), it may be your colleague - the one that is your competition for your next job, it maybe your shift manager or group leader, it may be a customer, or it may be your partner who really does not understand why you stay in your job. But no matter who your flamingo is, the key to success is learning how to control them, how not to become intimidated and how to laugh at them when they look at you with a puzzled expression because you actually learned to control them. Just as in Alice’s story, managing your flamingo will not be easy, nor will it be predictable. Why is that? It is because a Flamingo is a Flamingo; because it is a tall and extremely beautiful bird that likes to show itself off. Learning to manage a flamingo begins with understanding its strengths and weaknesses. For example, let’s consider the flamingo’s assets. The long legs and long neck that make a flamingo beautiful also make it quite fragile. They are an asset as well as a hindrance. Maybe that’s why Alice’s flamingo does not want to hit the hedgehog with its beautiful long fragile neck, or have its legs tucked away. In learning to manage your flamingo, examine its behavior, notice its assets and recognize its strengths and weaknesses. Usually the flamingos in the business world are just as hard to manage as Alice’s flamingo, therefore trying to understand their motivation is a great way to begin the management process. Are they trying to maneuver themselves in order to get themselves into a comfortable or better position? Are they being unpredictable just to throw you off balance or gain advantage? Are they flashing their beautiful colors just to get attention? Once you observe and understand their behavior you can focus on the management process. Flamingos in the business world, just like the birds, usually stand high and have their long necks and heads up in the air. They are often so busy showing off their colors and being unpredictable, that they miss the entire meaning of the task, job or game. By focusing on what they do not focus on you can use the flamingo’s weaknesses to take control of the situation and manage them. Focus on the details that are too small for them to see. Bring substance and control to your position by being the unpredictable one. Most important: do not let their behavior intimidate you. During my years in business I have observed many flamingos in action. I have seen how their unpredictable behavior has frustrated those around them. Flamingos are in all positions, at all levels. Let me start with one of the most common and dangerous ones you will encounter in your career experience. The Flamingo Colleague - Female A female colleague with the flamingos character is probably the most difficult to manage. In the business world, people with this kind of character will be very protective of their career ambitions, just as a female flamingo would be protective of her young. The biggest mistake many women make is getting into too close of a relationship with their female colleagues at the workplace. Friendships and relationships are fine, as long as none of your colleagues have a flamingo character and you are not fighting with them for a promotion, a new position or the boss’s attention. Unfortunately this is rarely the case in the business world; there is always competition and fighting. Therefore I strongly suggest against becoming too close with your peers if you want to climb the ladder. Why? Because women are often even more competitive with other women when fighting for a position, more competitive than if they were fighting with a man. And if one of the women has the character of a flamingo, then the battle can become very intense. If you find that hard to believe, think of it in terms of what flamingos would do. Let’s say there are 3 flamingos, all females and one piece of flamingo food. There would be an intense battle for that piece of food (especially if they all had children to feed). If there were 3 flamingos in total and 2 were females and 1 male, where would the intensity of the battle be? Probably between the two females! In my 28 years of working, I have observed brutally competitive behavior between females, more competitive than between females and males. I, who could have categorized my younger self as a flamingo, will also admit in my climb up the ladder I engaged in brutally competitive behavior to ensure I got what I wanted. So what is my advice in dealing with unmanageable, unpredictable, female flamingos in the work place? First, I hope you are colleagues and not friends with your flamingo. Second, in competing for a position concentrate on what the qualifications of the position are, and how you can fulfill those qualifications. Flamingos will focus on who they are more than meeting the qualifications. By nature flamingos will try to sell themselves not their capabilities. Most female flamingos are so focused on themselves; they may miss the real picture. Use this to your advantage. Fight the battle for the attention from those whom are making the decision, do not fight against your competitor directly. Be strategic and smart in battling the circumstances, not the flamingo. Never go into direct battle with a flamingo, you will only lose. In the end have some fun and burst out in laughter at the flamingo’s expression when they realize you are able to predict the unpredictable, and maybe even control the situation. Last, remember in each management challenge with a flamingo there is a learning lesson and if you are a flamingo, then maybe it’s time to pull your head out of the sky and learn from my observations of you. So, this is my flamingo lesson for today, more advice on Flamingo Bosses, Flamingo Men Colleagues and more to come in the upcoming weeks, and for now just burst out laughing. You have probably heard the term “dress for success.” Well, you are going to want to dress for success when you go on a job interview as this is your first and only time to make a good impression with your prospective boss.
How do you dress for success? Here are some pointers on how to really make a good impression with your dress style during a job interview: Wear a suit If you are a man, wear a tie. If you are a woman, wear a suit with heels and stockings. You should look very business like and professional. You probably will not be wearing a suit when you go to work on a daily basis, as most offices have adopted the business casual look, but you will want to wear a suit for the interview. Wearing a suit will show the interviewer that you cared enough about getting the job to get dressed up. Eliminate cologne You do not want people to smell you coming a mile away, even if it is an expensive cologne. Minimize your use of cologne or perfume when you go for a job interview. Too much cologne is distracting and will end up being a distraction for your prospective boss who may even be disturbed by this. Both men and women are guilty of wearing too much cologne at times so go easy on the scent. By the way, you don’t want to smell bad, either. Make sure that you are well groomed and washed for your job interview. Go easy on make up Women should go easy on make up as well as elaborate hair styles. Women who wear too much makeup to a job interview end up looking unprofessional. This does not mean that you have to look like a plain Jane, either. You can look good and wear your hair pulled back without having it in a severe bun. But long flowing locks and make up galore is for a nightclub, not for a job interview. While you want to look attractive, you want to tone down any elaborate appearance. Shave If you are a man, make sure that you shave before a job interview. The scruffy look may work for some actors, but it will not land you a job. Shave and look well groomed before the job. Clean shoes You would be surprised at how many people will notice your shoes. Women should wear a low heel and men should wear dress shoes. Shoes should be conservative in nature and should be polished. Professional networking is at the core of a successful career. It is important to identify individuals with whom you can form positive relationships and share information. Networks provide support, business leads, and can even help you circumvent those automated pre-screening filters!
1. Alumni Networks When you complete a program of study, do not let your affiliation with your school diminish after you receive your diploma or degree. No matter if it is high school, a technical college or a four-year university, forming and maintaining professional relationships with teachers, principals, professors, advisors, and fellow learners can prove to be beneficial in your search for employment. Almost all schools have alumni groups you can join. I would suggest contacting your school’s alumni office or career center just before you graduate. Familiarize yourself with the resources that will be available to you once you graduate. Look for alumni-specific events such as career fairs, networking parties, and even tailgating events. You do not always have to network in a formal setting. Networking in an informal setting can be as effective, as it provides a more relaxed atmosphere to make connections. Another way to make the most out of your alumni connections is to keep your contact information current with the alumni office. This includes your mailing address, phone numbers, and email address. You will want to be sure you can receive notifications that may be of benefit and of interest to you. If the alumni office produces an alumni directory, request a copy. Also, read alumni newsletters and other publications to stay abreast of the happenings on campus. This is a good way remain connected with your school. If you have been out of school for a while and have not remained in touch with your school associates and friends, it isn’t too late. Start today by reaching out to your alumni office. Attend a school event. Reconnecting is easier than you think. Whatever you do, do not let this valuable resource lie dormant. You have made a huge investment in yourself by attending school and completing your program, and now it is time to realize more of a return on your investment. 2. Professional and Trade Associations Just about every career field has one or several corresponding professional and trade associations you can join. Normally, yearly membership dues are required along with proof that you are either currently working in your field, are a student, or a graduate seeking employment in the career field associated with your organization of interest. If you are a student you may, in some cases, qualify for a reduced membership fee. Joining a professional organization can open up a number of career opportunities. Please be aware that simply adding your name to an organization’s membership roster will not guarantee that you will have success in your job search. You will need to be an active participant. Most organizations have at least one major conference a year, and smaller scale events on a more frequent basis. Attend as many events as your time and money will allow. Not only will you be able to stay abreast of developments in your field, you stand an excellent chance of making valuable professional contacts. 3. Career Fairs I am not trying to be overly obvious, but if you are looking to make employment connections, what better place to do so than at a career fair? Depending on the size of the event, you will have access to dozens or even hundreds of recruitment and hiring managers under one roof. This will be the perfect opportunity to get to know more about the companies that interest you, and more about the people who do are responsible for hiring. Also, you will have an opportunity to meet with fellow job seekers. You’re probably thinking, “Job seekers? Aren’t they my competition?” It depends on how you look at it. You may meet someone who works or has worked at a company where you would like to work. They may be willing to candidly share their experiences with you. Be careful though. Use your best judgment when speaking to other job seekers. Don’t let this information alone determine your level of interest in the company. Gather facts by doing your own research. 4. Conferences This isn’t written in stone anywhere, but I believe every professional should attend at least one major conference and four other events (one each season or quarter) related to their career field. Conferences provide professional growth and development opportunities and put you in direct contact with others in your profession. Challenge yourself to meet at least five new people. Plan ahead so that you can get the most out of your experience. Study the conference agenda to determine which workshops and presentations you will attend. If you have an area of expertise, you may consider registering as a speaker. Remember to have copies of your professional resume available and plenty of clean, crisp business cards. 5. Social Networks Social networking, when used properly, can be a great tool to help you land a position. This is an opportunity for potential employers to get a better idea of who you are outside of your resume and a way for you to easily get information about companies of interest. Artificial intelligence has been the secret sauce for a few of the most significant modern technology companies. However modern technology large Alphabet Inc.'s Google is betting large on 'democratising' artificial intelligence as well as machine learning and also making them offered to everyone-- users, developers as well as ventures. From finding and also taking care of dangerous conditions, reducing crash threats to uncovering monetary fraud, Google said that it aimed to enhance the quality of life by lowering access obstacles to using these technologies. These modern technologies would likewise add a great deal of value to self-driving cars, Google Photos' search capabilities and even Snapchat filters that transform the photos of customers right into computer animated photos. " Google's cloud platform currently provides customer applications to over a billion individuals on a daily basis," stated Fei-Fei Li, primary scientist of AI and artificial intelligence at Google Cloud. "Now if you can just picture, combining the large reach of this platform with the power of AI and also making it readily available to everybody." No shows AI intends to develop machines that can mimic human knowledge processes, while Stanford University explains machine learning as "the scientific research of obtaining computer systems to act without being explicitly set." At the Google Cloud Next seminar in San Francisco this month, Ms. Li introduced the accessibility of cloud 'Video Knowledge API' to the programmers. The technology was demonstrated on stage while playing a video clip. The API was not just able to find a pet dog in the video yet likewise determine it as a dachshund. In another trial, a straightforward search for "coastline" regurgitated video clips which had beach clips inside them. Google claimed the API is the very first of its kind, enabling designers to easily browse and also discover video web content by providing details about entities. These include nouns such as "blossom" or "human" and also verbs such as "swim" or "fly" inside video clip web content. It could even give the contextual understanding of when those entities show up. For instance, searching for "Tiger" would certainly discover all precise shots consisting of tigers across a video clip collection in Google cloud storage space. "Now finally we are beginning to radiate the light on the dark matter of the digital universe," stated Ms. Li, that is also the supervisor of the Artificial Intelligence and Vision Labs at Stanford College. |
